“In its letter to Cedars-Sinai, the federal office said that it examined records of 38 patients who had suffered postpartum hemorrhaging. In 14 of those cases, the treatment concerned investigators as "potentially deviating from protocols" partly because of race, the letter said. In one instance when a Black woman suffered postpartum hemorrhaging, "management of her bleeding appeared severely delayed" and out of step with Cedars-Sinai guidelines, the letter said. I DON’T recommend delivering at Cedars Sinai.
I had labor there. It was traumatizing experience. I wanted to stay vertical for birth, instead they put me on bed, attached to the monitors and were not coming in, even though I was calling to needing to pee. They didn’t turn me after administering epidural and it failed on one side. At 3am I had one minute contractions that were one minute spaced out. They didn’t come and check until 10:30am. My baby was born cone headed for sitting in a birthing canal for that long. I wanted epidural without narcotics, but sure enough when they administered it I was high. Thankfully I’m not coming back there for my second labor.

These people made $10k on my procedure and now an unexpected bill
I am absolutely shocked that after the billing department told me prior to the procedure what my patient responsibility would be, and then billed me for over $300 on the day of my procedure. Now I'm getting bills for an additional $250 that no one told me about or warned me of. If that patient responsibility amount was an estimate that could be exceeded by ALMOST DOUBLE, I should have been warned about that, but nowhere along the way did this office present my copay as anything but final. These people made $10k on my procedure and have no sense of how much of a financial hardship an unexpected bill for $250 can present — I would warn you away from this office if you are not rich.

The billing is ridiculously high
They billed for pediatric well child checkup over $2000 for one visit!!! After insurance coverage (mine is even employee dependent), still need to pay out of pocket over $400 for just one well child visit!!!! If I knew this earlier, I will definitely choose another place. I am so glad that I left Cedars and work at another place, and now I am paying zero out of pocket for my kids’ well child visit. Unbelievable!

Terrible care
I checked in the ER around 8 pm on Xmas Eve, they numbed my leg, then need X- ray at 12 am, then number me again at 1:40 for CT. This forward faced, thin, medium build nurse is very unfriendly, won't give me pain killers or anti-biotics afterward insisting it will open on Xmas, discharged me right after on the street.

Be ashamed of yourselves
This place charged me $1100 for a breathing treatment while I was homeless and having an asthma attack. When I was unable to pay it right away, they sent it to collections, where it began accruing additional fees and interest. Now my bill is $1700, with a few years until it falls off my credit report. If it had been the same cost as it started, I would've paid it. I've been paying down all of my collections for a better credit score. But over $500 of additional interest for a breathing treatment. You'll never see a penny from me.

Bill for crazy amounts even after payment and threaten debt collector
Cedars is the worst! They bill patients for crazy amounts and even after payment is completed, they continue to send the bill threatening that it will be send to a debt collector. I have requested a breakdown of the charges several times and they NEVER provided me with one. They also wanted to do additional test that’s dr never asked for just to charge more. This place represents exactly everything that is wrong with medical care in this country! Shady bill, additional charges, threats even after payment has been made. I called the billing dept several times and they said they marked the bill as paid. Even today, I continue to get a paper bill. The level of disorganization and lack of transparency in this organization is the worst!
