This is a hospital to avoid unless you want a C-section
They are very quick to jump in with unnecessary interventions. I don't know if they just don't want to get sued or they want to have more billable hours. The on call labor team tried to have my daughter moved to an OR for a C-section. An entire team entered the room, trying to pressure her into agreeing. They claimed the baby was in distress, though this wasn't reflected in the monitors. Fortunately, a nurse called her doctor, who appeared in the nick of time. She said no C-section was needed and the baby was born less than 30 minutes later, with no interventions. Her doctor was confused as to why everyone was alarmed and suggesting a C-section. The room was set up to make it uncomfortable for a doula or family member to help. There was one tiny "couch" for the father, but the doula and I had to stand or sit on the floor. They had no chairs, even upon request. We finally got a doctor's stool. They don't seem to want the laboring mother to have any advocates present that might question their insistence on unnecessary C-sections. Additionally, the night nurses speak and laugh LOUDLY all night long. Other hospitals request hushed tones at night. Don't expect to sleep at all here.

Do not plan a birth here!! Worst experience!!
Nurses did not give me my baby right away and there was no medical intervention. They gave vaccines after I cleared stated many time I’m waiting to see the pediatrician appointment when we get out. The excuse o sorry it was just a lot going on! How dare you !! Robbed an experience I can never have again and disrespected my wishes. To top it off cold food every time and old dirty rooms. I asked them to clean again they clean the bathroom with gloves then with the same gloves clean the lunch tops and sink disgusting! I asked for wipes so I could do it my self until I was released. My doctor was wonderful the nursing staff bullied me for my milk not coming in right away after c-section. Didn’t offer lactation help until I broke down crying for help. First time mom I didn’t know they had one on staff but they didn’t offer either.

Honestly, if you’re dying. You’re better off going anywhere but here.
This location makes Cedars Sinai lose its reputation and credibility. I have a lost to say but I will summarize and post the full review with a journalist if necessary. This is by far the worst hospital visit I’ve ever encountered considering it’s Cedars Sinai which is suppose to be one of the most elite Hospital Care in the region. July 6, I was rushed into the E.R. I was having a heart attack. I wasn’t intoxicated, I wasn’t medicated, I was not under the influence what so ever. After the doctor confirmed my heart attack, the team takes my blood, Xray and tell me absolutely nothing. Blood work came back completely normal so that verifys that I wasn’t under the influence. They then keep me in the waiting room from the moment I got there roughly passed 6 o clock until 2 am!! They then tell me after asking so many times while not being able to breathe properly, sit properly, that rooms are available due to priority. I’ve seen the waiting room become full and empty or 5 times and while I waited, I noticed how the floor is filthy and filled with ants and cockroaches. The bathrooms are covered in Piss all over the seat and floor. Complete filth. My complaint is that I was misdiagnosed by cedars Sinai’s fascinating medical doctors and my blood was ran twice to verify that I wasn’t under the influence. They didn’t take me as a priority while I was the only one in the waiting room barely breathing and they didn’t give me a room until it was 1 am. I’ve mentioned in my very wordy email that I was not going to take this situation to the heights I intended to but Cedars has completely ignored my disputes and put me off to the side so for those reasons I’ve going ballistic.

Go elsewhere
Went to the er on the weekend with a diagnosis from my dr bc my pain was significantly worse. Wouldn’t look at my X-rays, and didn’t diagnose the same problem, wouldn’t call a specialist or an actual dr. Drive to cedars instead at least you’ll see a Dr.
