The ER will provide care based on if they think you can pay or not. The ER will provide minimal test and send you packing. If you are trying to find out what is wrong with you health wise I would recommend another ER.

I'll stitch myself up next time
Emergency room was pretty quick when I had to go, but being charged the amount that I was charged for 20 minuets of time, 6 squirts of saline, one roll of gauze, and 2 stitches that were poorly executed, (1 untied over night, 1 was put through the smallest amount of unstable flesh that ripped out in less than an hour without causing damage).

Sent me to 2 different collections agencies when I have paid my balance in full
The ONE STAR is for the billing department. Sent me to 2 different collections agencies when I have paid my balance in full, but somehow they have no record of the thousand dollars I have paid. Thankfully I have receipts but this has been a nightmare to deal with.

I cannot express my disgust enough for this hospital
Let me just say when the paramedic sent me through the ER he handed my clutch to a staff at the ER but I couldn't see who. Unfortunately, my purse was opened and my driver's license and bank cards were stolen so that's been a grievance. I did file a police report and yes, it was someone at the hospital. After they used me as a cash cow they parked me to the side and left me. I woke up and removed the remaining part of the IV and pads and bandages. I had nerve damage in my right arm for a week and still a little remains but luckily I feel will eventually completely resolve.

By law I'm supposed to get an itemized bill within 30 days
When I say that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing is an understatement. The billing dept is no longer on site. You get a number for someone in another country because no one speaks English correctly. I've asked these people for itemized bills but they won't send them. The cashiers from the hospital then call to ask why i haven't made a payment. We'll, because I've asked for an itemized bill. You haven't asked for one. Yes i have. The cashiers don't have a record of it because the billing dept is somewhere else. By law, I'm supposed to get an itemized bill within 30 days. When you actually go to the hospital, they said they are not allowed to give an itemized bill. I think I'm calling CMS to file a complaint.
