While awaiting treatment my husband was bitten by bed bugs
I went to the ER and was admitted for pneumonia. They placed me on the dirtiest floor and the oldest room available. While awaiting treatment my husband was bitten by bed bugs that was inside of their old nasty couch. We placed a complaint with the house supervisor, the nurse on duty, the Environmental services supervisor and the COO Scott Strong. Scott promised to compensate us for our damaged clothing items and we just was informed that he is not. That is bad customer service and on top of that your hospital is disgusting. Your focus should be positive patient experience and cleaning thoroughly. I would like my items destroyed by your bed bugs to be reimbursed as promised. Please tell me how a different hospital, Atrium, can be in the same city and not have any bed bugs issue. When my husband and I spoke to Scott Strong he promised to pay for my damaged clothing sustained by their bed bug infestation. I will report this facility to every healthcare quality organization until something is done about this issue.

If you want to waste hours of your life, this is the ER to go to
The employees move in slow motion, like time doesn’t exist here. I saw more takeout bags being carried around than patients being taken care of. Absolutely ridiculous - avoid this place if you actually need help anytime soon.

BELEIVE THE REVIEWS!!!
This place is a complete joke waited for 4 hours never was seen all was ever ask was what was my symptoms which one of them I had numbness to the right side of my face then they asked when was my last period. When I say I never been to a emergency room like this & then they think it's okay to talk about what you're being seen for in the front lobby in front of everyone I have never in my life experienced a hospital like this! The staff was very rude some was nice but overall very unprofessional I do not recommend this hospital for nothing in the world

THE WORST hospital I have been to in my entire life
I came in at 10 till 6:00 IN THE MORNING no one but me in the waiting room…. I came to the er bc I have asthma have been sick and was struggling to breathe…I get here…there’s nowhere to even sit at registration…. Mind you I’m here bc I can’t breathe…. So I pulled a chair close enough to the lady to hear what she was saying but could still sit and when I get up (coughing my lungs up struggling for air) this woman wanna go you need to put that chair back….. then they hand me a paper and want me to finish checking myself in…..I CAN’T BREATHE I CAN’T TALK ON THE PHONE…so the admin woman finally does her job and finishes checking me in…. I sit in the waiting room FOR AN HOUR!!!! I finally get fed up called 911 asked for them to have an ambulance meet me outside so I can get a breathing treatment because I can’t breathe…. So after causing a scene I’m taken back for a chest xray (still no breathing treatment) and see empty room 5-6 nurses just standing around the desk talking not doing a dam thing productive… get my chest xray and am taken BACK OUT INTO THE WAITING ROOM!!!! Are we serious right now??? At this point I’m pissed so I call patient relations and was told they was gonna send someone down to see what’s going on….another half hour still waiting…. At this point I’m gasping for air, taking my inhaler like it’s my second lung crying bc I can’t understand why no one is trying to help me…. Which is making my breathing worse… and at this point I’m feeling like I’m gonna pass out and wondering if ima make it out this waiting room…. FINALLY I’m called back…. They give me Iv fluids bunch of steroids, mild pain meds for my chest STILL NO BREATHING TREATMENT….. so what do I do??? Take my inhaler again bc it’s the only thing I can do to save myself at this point bc it’s obvious no one at this hospital gives a DAAAAAAAAAAAM about me now here we are….8am…. Nurse FINALLY comes in with the breathing treatment talking about it came across his desk before 7 but he just saw it….TWO HOURS LATER!!!! If I Didn’t have my inhaler who knows what state I would be in…. Never will I come here again

Would NEVER recommend this hospital to anyone.
My husband had a myelogram scheduled this morning to which he required an escort. We live an hour away from the hospital. We have a 9 month old son (I’m also currently pregnant with our second) who came to the appointment with us as well. They waited until we were in his own room to tell us myself and my son are not allowed to stay because only kids 12 and older can be in the hospital at all. Rather than mentioning this when booking they waited until we drove there at 5 am to then kick us out and leave us sitting in the parking lot for the next 5-6 hours of my husbands procedure. Absolutely disgusting “care” for a patient and his family. When I asked if they could explain the procedure so I felt more comfortable leaving him they refused and made us leave immediately without being able to say by to my husband.

My terminally ill brother could have been treated like a human
No empathy No kindness No dignity here. He was extremely scared of confined spaces, he always had open mri’s. They put a rag over his face and said oh well we don’t have one, and proceeded on anyway, no sedation nothing. Staff never answers call lights!! This is less than 24 hours before he passed away. He could not stand because he was so weak. Mind you he already had one kidney removed in December and laid on a gurney in a hallway several days before he was put in a room!! He tried to get staff to take him to the restroom, no catheter no urinal. He finally got up and attempted to take himself and fell! (urine all over him and he laid in the floor a while!! and still no one came!!!! They were even rushing our grieving process, his elderly Mother had to travel two hours to see him for her own closure. They were trying bag him up to clear out the room. I also was a CNA 30 years ago for ten years. A staff Shortage is nothing new nor an excuse that hospitals are using for their excuse. You need to refresh your staff on human kindness, dignity, respect and treating their patients with love and compassion. My brother was only 57 years old, 11 months ago and Hospital never apologized!
