Absolutely terrible experience
Went in with an asthma attack. Sat on the couch struggling to breath, watching the two guys at the desk make fun of the other patient on the waiting room and play on their phones. Absolutely awful service. Terrible hospital, go to another if you don’t want to die on their waiting room getting made fun of.

I wouldn't recommend someone go there
In Nov 24' I was brought to the emergency ward suffering from a bad prescription drug interaction... I was convulsing extremely bad and told the doctor what prescribed drug I took...when I finally passed out they discharged me (still unconscious) with the diagnosis that I was having alcohol withdrawals...where df did they get that from...?? Worst experience of my life

This place gets only one star.
I went to the ER because of long QT that was detected on my home ECG unit. I explained to the ER doctors and triage nurse that I am light headed. They did an ECG and several blood test and they told me that all was normal . I was sent home. While I was on my way out the ER door,I got short of breath with chest pain. I told the triage nurse about this and all she told me ws that nothing was wrong with me. I told her I will go to RUSH ER. when i got there they did the same test that Insight ER did and told me everything looks normal but the Cardiologist on call wants to do more definitive test to see if anything is wrong.. I was admitted into the hospital and ECHO were done along with Several Stress ECG test. Guess what ,not every thing was fine ,I do have long QTc which can be deadly if untreated. The moral of the story is stay away from Insight hospital and Med Center if you know what is good for you.

Need to improve on patient safety proper procedures
They do a horrible job working with patients. Nurses arguing with Drs about treating patients. Making the Drs job harder. Majority of the staff are rude and looking for a paycheck.

I don’t understand why the hospital was preparing to release him and he died?
My 86 year old father was taken to Insight because of a fall, and doctors discovered that he had a bleeding ulcer. I came to visit from out of town a few days after a procedure identified the ulcer, and doctors were preparing to release my dad to a rehab facility. That was on a. Friday. My dad died the next morning, early. While I trust that nurses and staff were caring, I don’t understand why the hospital was preparing to release my dad if the bleeding, which is what was put on his death certificate as cause of death, was so acute. The attending doctor also seemed to not want to sign the death certificate. Why? I have so many questions that will never be answered because my dad is gone, and nothing will change that.

Never again
I came in the other night and waited 3 hours and it probably would have been more if I didn’t leave. I know there can be a wait at an ER but 3 hours plus is ridiculous.

Extremely disappointed in the lack of communication
I can’t never get ahold of anyone when it comes to accurate information on my medical records. They bounce you around from one department to the next and lack of empathy and professionalism from the staff Not the doctors but some of the staff is disappointing.

I walked out after waiting for over 3 hours in extreme pain
I was just there for a horrible bug bite on my hand that caused extreme pain and made my entire hand swell up. I sat for over 3 hours in extreme pain and discomfort before I walked out. If you want to be treated in a timely and respectable time frame, do NOT go to this hospital.
