I am reporting this incident to the Texas DSHS
After being treated for severe pain, I was released only to find out that I've been left stranded with no way of getting back home. They keep telling me they're checking on it.. fact is, they're ignoring me. Im ckd stage 5 and I can't walk a block without feeling like fainting. I was told they only provide transportation in extreme cases. Jeezzz .... how severe is a stage 5 kidney disease not consider serious? If you're a hardship case like me, don't ever choose this hospital. They'll leave you stranded and don't give a flip about you if you're broke with your debit card being worthless. Now I know why this two bit hospital has such a low rating. The thing is, they act with such arrogance and tell me to wait. I been waiting nearly 3 hours now and no one has come out to talk to me. I requested a patient advocate on duty...nothing. I requested yo speak to a supervisor and no one knows who the supervisor would be. Do yourselves a favor and skip this two bit hospital and choose a reputable hospital.The way I was treated by the front desk in ER lobby is deplorable. These people have no empathy for patients with life threatening illnesses. Funny thing that after I managed to contact a son of mine, he got me an Uber ride back home. When I got home, I got a text message on my phone telling that my ride was waiting for me outside. That was a whole 3 and a half hour later. Jeezzzzzz! Patients with stage 5 kidney disease shouldn't be ignored and be left waiting for so long while dealing with muscle weakness. I'll never set foot in that hospital again. Their empathy towards patients with my serious conditions is a disgusting inhumane way to treat a patient.
