DO NOT BRING ANY CHILD TO THIS HOSPITAL!
Absolutely atrocious treatment toward a young couple with their child who unfortunately took their newborn to this hospital not knowing there was no pediatric unit for care. Staff did not consult parents on steps being taken for further care of child and assumed parents would just accept transportation to Orlando and do as they were told. After refusing treatment and clearly stating they would be going to Jupiter Medical for on site care with their pediatric unit, they were denied the ability to leave even after stating they would sign that it was against medical advice. Staff brought in security for no reason but to scare the parents who were adamant on having their child released so they could leave to have their child receive a higher level of care. Then when MCSO was called, MSCO spewed what they know best and threatened the new parents with getting DCF involved. They begged to even be followed to Jupiter to clear up any doubts about the possibility of neglect. MCSO were unwilling to provide any assistance (2 white males) to get them to Jupiter Medical, and the hospital staff were unwilling to budge. The matter was so urgent, but they were willing to hold the child there for an additional 2 hours to fight the requests of parents. Neither North or South have any pediatric wings!!! And if you’re of any ethnicity other than white American stay far away from them and MCSO. They will deem you uneducated, inept, and incompetent… when in fact the incompetence lies within the hospital and the ignorance bleeds within MCSO.

We WILL NEVER step foot in any so called Cleveland Hospitals again
Well I am writing this because my father the patient is no longer here to write it himself. ONE: Had 2 stays, 8 days in total. Had Hospitalist, NEVER met the man. Met his 2 NPs 1 could Never remember orders, the second only After my father had a rapid response and I lost it. TWO: IV Poles nasty. Garbage left full all day, usually emptied myself, These are immunocompromised patients by the way. THREE: Respiratory incompetent. Received too much oxygen which set the chain of events, oxygen left off after treatment on a severely compromised respiratory patient. FOUR: nurses are great on 3rd floor however, they are over worked, overwhelmed and understaffed. Bag of blood verified after already infusing. FIVE: ER somewhat ok but Nurse did not check IV in critical patient leading to a liter of fluid leaking all over patient along with a bag of antibiotics. Urine sample sat for an hour and a half after I obtained. This is just some of the many mistakes we had this past week. We have plenty of pictures backing this as well.
