Had to Uber to another ER and ended up needing SURGERY
Waited in this ER for 6 hours before leaving because I couldn’t take the pain anymore. Had to Uber to another ER and ended up needing SURGERY. They charged me almost $600 for labs I never even got results from and I never even made it into a room from the main lobby area. This place could literally be on untold stories of the er. Contacted them and they wouldn’t remove any of the charges due to the circumstance of having to leave and go elsewhere for help. DO NOT GO HERE. Go to Ochsner!!

I wouldn’t bring my dog to this hospital.
Bought my dad here because he could barely breathe. We waited for 3hrs only to be told that there are people that have been waiting 11hrs to be seen. I watched someone clean up after patient who was bleeding area was not pro cleaned. Lobby area was really dirty. Horrible place I’ll never bring myself or anyone that is dear to me to this place. Horrible

Smh most horrible hospital in the world
Worst hospital ever, came to Mardi Gras from outta town had fun but ended up having a problem with my left eye. I came to this hospital and waited 12hrs literally with no answers to anything. I repeatedly asked every other hour when was I going to be seen by a doctor and for 12hrs straight they said the doctor was busy. It was also freezing in there I asked for a blanket and I couldn’t even get that.

This hospital doesn’t deserve one star!!!
HORRIBLE SERVICE…. I arrived with my grandson on Dec. 17, 2023 (Sunday) @7:04pm with a fever of 103 and he’s 6. It is now Monday Dec18, 2023 and we are still waiting and never BEEN CALLED TO THE BACK!

Take forever to be helped
People are almost dying, crying, and they have to wait around 3hrs the minimum to get a doctor.

People who come here are not animals and shouldn’t be treated like one
Most of the nurses on the stroke unit are extremely rude and inconsiderate. Takes hours to get your medicines that you request. When pressing the call light and them responding back to us is like they’re not even professionals. Do not leave your loved ones by themselves if they can’t speak up. They will be mistreated. This whole place needs to be shut down. I know I’m not the only one who complained. I met someone in the cafeteria whose husband was in here that got treated the same way. These people who come here are not animals and shouldn’t be treated like one.

Left after 4 1/2 hours waiting
A person could die waiting to be seen by a doctor! Never going back. Left after 4 1/2 hours waiting and went to Touro and was seen immediately!

Shut it down
I tried calling patient information looking for a family member...and the lady/girl had major attitude, rude ,unhelpful.......so I tried again this afternoon only to a guy who put me on hold for a long time then my call was redirected.....this is so unprofessional and frustrating....shut it down

They lied to me for months
I can honestly say I hate this hospital, the worst healthcare environment I’d ever been in. I was scheduled for a ENT surgery a few months ahead of time and even meet with the surgeon that was supposed to be doing my procedure after I was given a biopsy. I then had a follow up to educate me on the risk, recovery, and how the procedure would go. Months leading up to the surgery I was called numerous times to confirm the time, date, location of the procedure, and ensure I was going to be attending, just for me to show up and the ENT telling me that there is no procedure scheduled for me. Do Not seek healthcare here . Just go to Ochsner.
