Care after spinal surgery was terrible
My room was only cleaned once in four days. They would forget about my meds, then not hook up my leg pumps to prevent blood clots, my daughter did that most of my stay there. I was released two days after two spinal surgeries. They forgot about the Walker that was ordered for me and discharged me before I could even do a number 2. I never ordered food they just brought whatever to me. I have eight holes in my arms and hands from IVs along with a huge black bruise from where a vein blew in surgery. Never talked to my surgeon after either procedure.

They gave me a phone number for someone in billing?
This hospitals and offices SUCKS!!! This has the laziest people. They have a call center so the people in the doctors offices can sit on their bottoms. I watched a woman sitting doing nothing. Must be nice! They had no clue about a referral that had been sent to them. They called me to let me know they had gotten from my doctor. They had no clue who called me. They then gave me a phone number for someone in billing? Didn't know billing took care of referrals?? It is also their patience fault that they had gotten hacked. 2 weeks is way to long for their systems to be down.

I recommend never EVER delivering your child here
I gave birth to my daughter here and after I had my daughter, it was horrible. They left me in the room that i gave birth in Because the postpartum room was to small since my fiancé was with me . They left tons of blood underneath my bed and they didn’t change my sheets the only time they came to clean is when we got ready to leave. another situation is my daughter got choke on her milk and stopped breathing of course I call on the nurses and when they came in they just looked at her and told me “ this is to be expected” since my daughter has trisomy 13, I revived my daughter on my own just by simply patting her on the back.

ONE STAR facility
My uncle was discharged from this hospital on Saturday. Discharged is a term used when a patient has either completed a course of treatment and is ready to return to their community or a patient has been deemed well enough to step down to a lower level of care at a facility that they and their family have been given information about and agree that this is the best fit for their needs. I’m not sure what kind of Case Management or Discharge Planning team this facility has, but I will tell you it is one that is DISHONEST. Saturday morning he was told that he was being discharged to Signature East and he needed to get his own ride there. He was told he had to go to this facility because they have on-site dialysis, did I mention he is a brand new dialysis patient? That part is true, they do have on-site dialysis. However, they did not have a dialysis chair for him available and I am positive they knew this because the Case Manager had secured him a dialysis chair at an out-patient clinic 5 miles away. In fact, when he arrived at Signature East, they had no idea he was coming. I suspect this is why they wanted him to secure his own transportation. He had to wait in the parking lot for over an hour while they sorted this out, an ambulance crew would have taken him right back to the hospital. I am a healthcare worker, I understand we are ruled by insurance companies but insurance companies do not rule your empathy or your ability to do the right thing by these patients. If you have a loved one here, do not take what your discharge planner tells you at face value. Verify everything for yourself. Advocate for your family member or you may find your loved one dumped in a ONE STAR facility.

The nurses were the most unprofessional
The nurses were the most unprofessional and ridiculous acting humans I have ever came across. Their attitude was nothing short of a disgrace to the healthcare profession. They behaved like animals. Screamed, and talked about patients where you could hear them. What a shame and disgrace to have staff like this. And the least of their concerns was it was nasty. Absolutely nasty! Something needs to be done at this facility. I would never set foot back in this hospital.

Ridiculous
Had some chest pain, shortness of breath. No outside entrance or parking. Walk in and have to get tagged by attendant to ‘visit’ ER then go down two floors and walk about 300-400 ft of hallways to find an ER entrance. Then to be told at the desk, by a security guard to take a seat and wait. I did. And then I left. Unless coming by ambulance AVOID Nortons downtown ER at all costs!!!!

Find Healthcare elsewhere
This place is terrible. When I brought my father, I had to be let in by security because I got turned around and the officer talks to a homeless person they are letting sleep in the main lobby and laughing and joking with said person. But a patients son cannot be let in to see his father or take his mother food is so unprofessional. Speaking of unprofessional this place is so filthy that I couldn't even use the public restroom. I know this review will not mean anything to a company this size but it should, when your 1 stars almost outweigh your 5 stars there are major issues that need addressed. People of Southern Indiana and Kentucky if you can please find Healthcare elsewhere.
