Horrible experience for pregnant patiient
Waited an hour in the ER because staff didn’t take me to Emergency OB. Waited after in my room and had to call the nurse nobody came in to check on me…. I had to call for my results and I was release home with no medication and with the exact discomfort I went with… I was even told that my OB always sends people to the ER without needed to horrible experience will not return

Not very good
I have too much pain and the doctor told me that you do not give injections to combat the inflammation in my left shoulder, my problem is bursitis and it is very painful, I have to visit an orthopedic doctor, years ago I was treated at a hospital in Haialeah Palmeto Hospital and they gave me injections that is why I went to the emergency room for nothing.

I regret going here
I went to the Baptist Health South Miami ED with chest pain because they are 1.5 miles from home. Unbeknownst to me and until I was home, the provider was a PA, not a doctor or an APRN. His name was Nix and he was so nonchalant, it was almost surreal. He asked about the location, quality and duration of my pain. At this point, it persisted. He said several times that, so far, all my labs and the EKG indicated it was not a heart attack. He then went on to tell me it may be muscular, since I had recently travelled and, perhaps, the heavy luggage may have caused it. I have a history of arrhythmia and was pretty scared by now. None of the staff gave me confidence that they were following AHA guidelines or the like. All in all, I regret not going to Jackson or even Baptist Doctors, which is equally distanced from home. I felt the went through the motions and totally disregarded my condition, as is often the case when male healthcare professionals treat females. Baptist touts the “warmer side of care” here in Miami but they sure fell short of even convincing me or making me feel that was in competent hands.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO BANKRUPT.
I can't imagine if this was a serious issue. A book on my bookshelf fell and hit my head. I called telehealth and was advised I may have a concussion and go to the Emergency Room. I went and I was charged $944 for an emergency room visit followed by an additional $350 for the doctor simply to touch my head, ask me if I was bleeding and letting me know that I was ok. $1300+ for a bump on the head and less than a 2 minute examination. This hospital and country's insurance policy is awful. Their only response was to put a payment plan in place. No review - just billing. Awful.

Truly upset at how horrible this hospital has become
I have always been a huge advocate for this hospital but my sister is currently there and has been nothing but horrible service. There’s no words to describe the disappointment I have with this hospital. From Christian the Night nurse being rude, dismissive and with an attitude when asking for nausea meds and pain medication. To Alexa (RN) and Karina (CP) COMPLETELY ignoring all the pages (an hour worth) for pain medication. We as patients are in the hospital for a reason, these RN/CP’s chose this profession for a reason, if you don’t like what you do go and do something else! We shouldn’t have to scream and beg and feel dismissed or ridiculed for needing either help or medications! I would like to highlight that there was two ppl that were great to her Elizabeth (RN) and Marie (CP) these ladies were amazing to her! If possible don’t come to this hospital!
