Beware of their billing practices
We paid our insurance share of a sleep study at the advent health in Deland and were assured it was approved by the Insurance Company. We now owe advent health $900 despite numerous calls AND the Insurance company repeatedly asking them to bill it correctly. Verify with your insurance company prior to any planned procedure. The billing department REFUSES to assist. The department that did the study refers us back to the billing department. There is no resolution. We will avoid Advent Health in the future.

AdventHealth Deland is the WORST hospital I've ever experienced!
After my wife being admitted to your hospital 3 consecutive times I must say that this is the WORST hospital I've ever experienced!!!!! I'm sure she will stay for 5 days as she has for the last 2 times she was admitted. I'm pretty sure that is what our insurance will pay for!

They don't care in the ER. They are on their phones. If you have been through domestic violence and you tell them and so them texts; they do nothing. They wear these hearts on their uniform about who they do it for, that's a lie. Most of them don't care. You go here for help and you come out worse??
