Cant even write off a $10 bill even proof givern the person is deceased
They have been sending a bill for $10 to a deceased person. I have reached out to notify them multiple times that the person is dead and they not once have offered their condolences nor had they given an option to get documentation for updating their file. Today I spoke with someone and explained once again that my brother has been dead since 2024 and she sent a blank email for me to email the death certificate. Not very professional and again absolutely zero emphaty. It's sad that a Healthcare Institution only cares about getting a $10 bill and can't even write it off once advised the person is deceased.

They dont care for you as a patient
Been fighting cancer for over 8 yrs in mount sinai for a while it was good till they stop taking my insurance while i got new insurance they will cancel my surgery 2 times meanwhile i have a big tummor in my kindney went for surgery on it they 1st change my doctor the doctor i trusted could not see me because it was not his turn to use operating room then you get a 90 day period from operation to go back for any issues with surgery were at this time they cancel my surgery 2 times so they would not fall in my 90 day window doctor on my operating day now wanted a urin sample that took 48 hrs. Were ive had over a dozen surgeries never needed a test like so. Hospital is super nice way under staffed and some but they are not there to help you at all they dont care for patients one bit and now i have insurance they take but after 35 yrs of visiting that hospital i will never put a foot in that hospital again.

Is this supposed to be one of the best hospitals in town within the US?
I went to through emergency and was very disappointed. Slow response time from nurses and techs. They seemed that they were just there because of the pay. No warmth or empathy. The only person that was outstanding was a nurse technician Jacki in the emergency room. She went above and beyond to make me feel better. The others didn’t greet you with a smile on their face. When you are pain, being kind and smiley goes a long way. Nothing was on time, my medicine, pain relief, food, blood draw. I had to be on top of everything calling and telling then that they haven’t given me my antibiotics. I hope I never have to go back there.

My father went walking in to have a surgery and left in a coma and died
Please do not delete my review. I want to leave my review on this hospital. It was a very bad experience. My father went walking to have a surgery and a week later he fell into a coma and died on 8/31/2024. They told us little about what happened to my father... they told us that my father had a stroke as if my father had a headache...I do not recommend this place or the doctor who operated on my father's heart. I think his name was Dr. Gonzalez... it was horrible...he even had the audacity to give me hope that my father's heart and organs were working properly and we were so happy and them the neurology specialist came and tell us that my dad was in a vegetative state... the worst experience of my life....

Third family member I have coming in this hospital who passes away
My father was in the ICU after heart surgery, out of the 6 nurses he had only 2 of them were empathic and attentive. The doctors will tell you different things each time they come in.

3rd world level treatment nearly killed my father
Avoid this place like the plague - nearly killed my father and left him with a stage 4 pressure wound out of sheer incompetence. We were ignored for days - doctor clearly didn't care. Nurses tried to hide things from us so we couldn't hold them accountable. Everyone that reads his charts are baffled, 3rd world level treatment. This place is a maniacal asylum for doctors that couldn't care less for their patients, a death for them is a simple relief of duty and I would avoid at all costs.

Do not trust their billing department
Be ready to pay the cost of their mistakes, and do not trust them! They are incredibly rude, unwilling to listen, and show no interest in resolving the issues they caused. Their lack of professionalism reached a point where they even hung up the phone on me while I was trying to assist them in rectifying their mistakes.

I had never witnessed such poor, unethical, unhelpful, and above all, inefficient care
Thank God I wasn't in the position of being a patient. I had to witness people arriving in need of a wheelchair and immediate assistance, and their first thought was to ask not for the patient's name, but for their home address to send the bill. When they haven't even taken the time to help the patient? Unbelievable! I feel that the first thing an emergency room should have is integrity, respect for life, and professionalism. And on top of all this, the employees discuss the case.

Negligence, shame on you
Why did you release my dad without talking to family that called in to ask about him? He deteriorated rapidly after being released home to no one- aren’t there checks and balances in place to help ensure somebody will be home? Instead I drove from Colorado straight to Florida (33 hours alone!) after he finally asked for the help himself… when I called to ask for guidance after making the trip, I was told I was one day late to access the doctors.

Horrible labor experience
Horrible labor experience with unprofessional residents and frustrating pediatric care with Dr. Adams. Poor communication, no care for people over protocol, no ability to discuss or have a say in care of my child with no data to back decisions made.
