0/10 would not recommend.
I cannot express how much I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The absolute horror stories I have heard from so many people with the care they have received or have not received from this place. The staff is unprofessional, have no bedside manner, treat people like they are just another number. They just do not care. I would never put my care into their hands.

20 minutes or its free doesn't work here
My wife with chest pains has been waiting 2 hours for the dr to tell her something. Ok after about 20 minutes of work and 5 hours. Yes 5 hours of waiting, we are finally done. Maybe hire more than 1 doctor per shift. No reason for sitting in a room doing nothing for 5 hours.... which i bet you charge us by the hour for.

I was an Unpaid Nurse taking care of my mom
Worst experience of all bad experiences, I wasn't the patient, but I guess I was an unpaid nurse instead. It's not your nurses, or the techs, not even the doctors that I found to be an issue, it's the lack of them that's the issue! When my paralyzed mom could finally could use the restroom, I had to change her but I messed up and some of it ended up in her bed with her. I called the nurse, looked EVERYWHERE for a gown and a sheet, ready to change the bed myself, there were NONE ANYWHERE in the room. And hour and a half she laid in her urine before I finally got a nurse to help me retrieve a gown and bedding. He helped me change her and get her back to bed. And an hour later, I was sleeping, and didn't hear her grunting to tell me she had to go and again the pads had slipped out from under her, and again the urine was in the sheets, and again I had to call the nurse (because no sheets or gown in the room why?!?!) and again she laid in urine for 20 minutes before he was able to assist me.

Mercy South is a horrible hospital
Their doctors do not communicate with the patients and just send them home for Major Heart issues! Also, cardiologists there go way outside their scope of Cardiology and speak about cancer and spreading (Yada - Yada) but was ALL incorrect information! Doctors are suppose to save lives not kill people and the staff at Mercy South as well as Mercy primary care doctors are horrible and lie!

The nurses behave as female prison guards
THERE IS NO REASON AT ALL FOR "LAYOVER" IN EMERGENCY ROOM FOR 8 HOURS. the emergency room, there is no interest in the patient other than checking him in quickly, taking blood samples quickly, showing the results within two hours, and then sitting with the rest of the patients in an unhealthy place for 9 hours for no reason.

I would say Mercy South fell way short of quality
The care my husband received a month ago on the oncology floor was barely above the level of horrible. The techs provided mostly good care but most of the nurse and both of the hospitalist were rude, inaccurate and gave such poor care it was frightening. As an RN for more than 35 years I know excellent, good, marginal and very poor and most of the staff were very poor. A week ago my husband had to return for more surgery but this time was on the orthopedic floor which was good because that is the type of service he needed. The care was better on this floor but better as in being hit by a motorcycle is better than a car while walking across the street. Several nurse were still very poor. In fact the only two good nurses were a float pool LPN and a float pool RN. Sad but true. The hospitalist was better this time but still not what I would expect at a high quality hospital. I do not expect perfect care but overall
