The nursing care is unacceptable
I’ve spoken to the nursing supvervisor who got irate with me. Over my absess bandage not being changed properly.and was in soiled gown. LEXI walks in my room says it’s not leaking and leaves. Never touches it nothing Nicole has been helpful when she can be. I was forced to get up on my own to use the bedside commode twice and stuck on the commode till someone decided to help me. The nurses are full of attitude and you get yelled at and told to poop and pee on command. Rather than when you have to actually go. I’ve been here for 2 weeks. There are a few good nurses and cna’s Lea Andrika and Lahana. I’ve been told I can’t have my waters that my husband brings me. I can’t have my waters i due to radiation treatment on my mouth. I lave no saliva. There’s no reason I was denied my water. Now this morning I was thhrown into bed after using the bedside commode a by a nurse WHO was very rude to me and W check wounds I have. Claims she’s still handing out meds and can look at my bed sores but claimed she couldn’t assist me tried to pawn me off on wound care. The hospital personell LESHAWN front desk operator talks down to you ME CONSTANTLY WHEN NEEDING HELP THIS HOSPITAL NEEDS TO DO BETTER TO HELP PEOPLE TO RESTROOM amd wound care I’ve been at this hospital for over 2 weeks. Just want better caste.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM
Had the WORST experience i have ever had at a hospital. Waited four hours to be seen, for a nurse to never come over to me, the doctor to tell me to follow up with a primary. Then boom magic the payment lady appears within SECONDS saying that I owe 6k, which I refused, and after the insurance adjustment came it was under $900. There is a reason that this was voted one of the worst hospitals in Florida.

Billing Scammers please avoid!
I took my close friend to the emergency room for severe cheek pain, but instead of diagnosing the issue with an x-ray, they simply gave a painkiller. After spending less than 30 minutes there, I was shocked to receive an $11,000 bill. The staff was unhelpful and rude, stating I couldn't leave without paying our full copay of $5000. When I questioned the high charges, they explained that I was billed for all the services I "could have gotten," even though they didn’t perform a basic x-ray, which I had to pay for separately the next day. Consulting with doctors who are friends, I learnt after that the bill was grossly inflated. I got a lawyer and escalated the issue with senior people at my insurance company and also reported to the joint commission. Questioned from several sides, they verbally admitted they “mistakenly” overbilled, and I eventually got 75% refund on my copay. I warn others to avoid this facility, as not everyone has the resources to fight back against overbilling.

Lack of care and overall communication
There is lack of care and overall communication from the entire staff at this hospital. The nurse in charge of my mother could not even tell me how many doses she received for the treatment of Covid. Never saw an actual doctor. I’m sure there a few good professionals there, this for profit organization needs some major overhaul.

single worst experience
I had a male nurse named brandon and a female nurse named Jill on the 2nd floor. Room 237 Brandon was extremely rude and condescending. They didn’t want me there. They kept telling me I was on drugs and was having withdrawals.. although not true I have a history of pancreatitis. There are nurses in my family. So when I asked them for the chemical name or side effects they assumed because I was black I wouldn’t know anything. They gave me ultimatum such as take it or don’t . I left and wanted to leave the hospital still full of pain.. they laughed and mocked me as I stumbled thru the Corridors for several minutes before I found the exit with no wheel chair assistance. Please go to palms west. this was the Single worst experience I’ve ever had
