We basically was charged $6,000 for some IV fluids and steroids!
What an absolutely horrible experience we had at this hospital. We went to a free standing HCA Emergency Room......after evaluation by the Dr there, the decision was made to transfer us to the Florida Capital Hospital for extensive blood work and skin biopsies. When we arrived at the hospital in the early morning hours we were taken to our room to await the tests. The Dr came in and did a brief visual exam and asked " Why are you even here " After being specifically sent there for these tests that we were told by the HCA ER physician, were absolutely vital that we get done, the physician at the hospital was completely dismissive. After asking several times about the tests, we were told that they were sending us home. While still having symptoms, without doing any blood work, and no skin biopsies, we were simply dismissed.......no answers, no results, and being told by the Dr, after we again questioned why they were not doing any of the tests that we were sent there for, some passing the buck explanation.......she had the nerve to say " sorry about the hospital bill ". I had to walk out............I've never experienced such an unorganized, unconcerned, sham of a hospital visit. I would not recommend an HCA facility to anyone. I told my wife, that if something ever happens to me and I need to go to a hospital, under no circumstances is she to take me to an HCA facility.

I visited E.R. because I'm at risk at home with falling, from 2 bulging disc. 1 is located in my neck, and the other is located in my lower back. Instead of either admitting me, or transport to TMH, they doped me up and discharged me to get Uber to go elsewhere?

Only problem is the neglectful Dr that neglected my pain
They decided to do surgery to remove cysts in groin arean about 20cm of infected skin on the inside of my thighs and groin area. surgery went well the nurses have been great my only problem is the neglectful Dr that just don't care how much pain I'm in. Dr Tikkiwal think I shouldn't be on iv pain meds 2 days after surgery. Severe pain with no relief.

Gave me med I couldn't take
I was given hydralazine, which I told the doctor I couldn't take. I have fallen twice due to this med. The meds process slower in my body. Nephrologist explained what processes 1-2 days in other people can take 2 weeks in my body. The day after I got home, I fell into the edge of a table, injuring my buttock and thigh, causing hematoma the size of an egg. 3 months I am still in pain in buttock, thigh, leg, foot (swelling) i have difficulty walking, sleeping and it's sending my BP up.

Horrible ER experience!
Waited for hours to be seen. Kept asking for assistance and something to drink. Kept telling me they would send someone in but took hours. After talking with Dr and getting nowhere, was released. Next shift came on and took me out of room putting me in hallway on stretcher. Asked for assistance due to my condition and was treated horribly! Spoke to a supervisor and got the same treatment. Could not provide the care and assistance i need to get back home. Took all day for transport. Do not go to this hospital!
