This is Absolutely unacceptable
My 75 year old father who is battling cancer, was sent here by his doctors because his kidneys are damaged from the chemotherapy he was on. Due to the damage he is incredibly swollen to the point he can hardly walk and is struggling to breathe cause he has pneumonia too and they wanted to get him admitted to siedman since he is in such bad shape. My father and mother sat in the ER waiting room for over 9 1/2 hours before they were seen. He is extremely sick and was absolutely miserable.He wasn’t the only one either. Another gentleman was there before them with chest pains with a history of heart attacks and he was still waiting to be seen when they took my parents back. We will be contacting every news station in the Cleveland area and so is that other gentleman.

Women’s healthcare stuck in the barbaric stages of medicine
I rarely leave reviews like this, but my recent experience here was extremely disappointing. where pain during procedures is treated as something patients should simply tolerate rather than properly addressed. My concerns about pain management and proper planning for a procedure were not taken seriously, which resulted in multiple appointments, missed work, and a copay for a visit where the issue was not resolved. Situations like this should be handled with much more care and consideration for patients. I have already submitted a formal complaint to Patient Advocacy regarding the care I received and am hoping the organization takes this matter seriously and reviews the situation.

Paid all my bills and get a email from collections
This hospital is one of the biggest fraudsters in Ohio. Paid ALL my hospital bills in FULL over 2 years ago and suddenly I get a random email from their collection agency UCB. These geniuses have already been sued several times for their fraudulent billing practices. Guess its about time to get an attorney myself and sue them for sending me fraudulent invoices when I STILL have recorded receipts that all my UH bills were paid in full and have not received any services by them for over 2 years.

Terrible care
My mother had to stay in the ED 3days with a brain bleed waiting for an ICU bed. Physicians not responding to nurses pages and secure chats when patients have critical labs that need medical intervention. The patient relations staff was very helpful getting all of the problems with the ICU and trauma-surg unit.

THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU WHAT SO EVER
If there was NEGATIVE STARS THEY WOULD GET NEGATIVE STARS. I ASKED FOR WATER 6 TIMES. and got ignored. I went in the ER in excruciating pain and left the same. NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE.

They almost killed my mother
There lack of care is horrible. They care more about money than the patients. My mom spent 3 weeks in the hospital for a pacemaker lead, the surgeon punctured my mom’s lungs and caused her to have sub Q emphysema and an infection,and tried to blame my mother having COPD according to Dr Bazea who was sedated for the surgery. My mom skin filled up with air and she had to have a blowhole to release the air. This procedure started to work,One of the nurses covered the whole causing my mom to fill back up with air. They had to put a note above my mom’s bed not to cover the blowhole. Then gave my mom so much medication causing her to hallucinate and would not stop the medication until my mom told them she didn’t want any more pain medication. The nurses cared more about planning a party than taking care of my mom. They discharged my mother only for her to have to go back to the hospital due to an infection, they had to remove the pacemaker completely because of the negligence of the surgeon. I really hope they can do a better job caring for the patient instead of worrying about making money. I feel this is the worst hospital in Cleveland. I will contacting the local news station about them throwing out my mother’s personal belongings and the amount they tried to reimburse her is a joke. They tossed out over $5,000 worth of personal items including her bottom partial.

UH Cleveland has destroyed my life the past few weeks
Came in for simple cyst removal after being transferred from a smaller hospital, surgery went bad they end up cutting my bowel, end up cutting me wide open Week #3 in here and no one has any answers why I keep puking have had about 5 different ideas but leave me laying in a bed instead of trying to figure it out. I have lost 20 pounds nobody can tell me anything that is going on. First time ever here and will be last.
