What a disgrace and shameful practice they use to collect money
Rude billing dept. I tried getting clarification about a bill. Instead of answering my question specifically they just told me that I "must pay it". There were some legal questions I had and I was waiting to get answers. I told them that IF it turns out I am responsible for the entire bill I would need to set up a payment plan. While I'm waiting for a response a few days later I got a bill from a collection agency. They turned it over immediately to that agency, not even trying to help me out. The bill from the collection agency was roughly only 20% of the entire bill. The other 80% was documented as a credit. I thought "that's better than it was. I can afford to pay it and just try to forget about the legal question I had and be done with it". So I paid it thinking "at least they did something to help". A little over a month later from a whole different, 2nd collection agency I get a bill for the rest! Now I really have some legal questions. These people are uncaring and could care less about your questions or situations. I pay my debts, if I owe it I pay it, period. All I had was a question and they could not or would not answer it.

Pressured me into getting a c section
I delivered here back in December and dr byerly definitely pressured me into getting a c section. It completely traumatized me delivering my first child. If you deliver here I don’t recommend going on her days. I felt pressured to get induced before the holidays I felt pressured to get a c section because I was taking too long. She came in and told me she’s prepping the OR for delivery and basically told me either way I’m getting a c section so I might as well agree to it. I was barely 24 hours into labor with zero complications. She was very matter of fact and cold when I sat and cried for almost an hour thinking I had no other choice. Everyone else the nurses and staff were fine and nice , it just felt like another dr who only cared about getting her check and going home.

I will never return
This was the worst care and worst experience of my life. I think they would have preferred I died on the way in the door.

Her gown was covered in blood she was told that was her fault
This hospital is absolutely disgusting. My grandmother was here for 6 days in a shared room. They not only keep sick patients in the same.room.but they also don't sanitize or disinfect blood pressure monitors or any equipment in between patients. My grandmother is now admitted to MVH because she got pneumonia from Grandview. Upon discharge she was never offered a shower or a clean up. Her gown was covered in blood she was told that was her fault. They attempted to squeeze my grandmother into a sized medium depends when she was obviously an extra large it ripped it was very tight and uncomfortable and the nurse just left it on here there and her wristband was so dirty it was unbelievable they never changed it. Do not go to Grandview you might as well just stay home. This hospital is awful.

If my wife didn't stay with me it would have been worst
If my wife didn't stay with me for the 3days n 2 nights I was here I would more than likely have been ignored by most of the AIDS and nursing staff. Zero empathy towards me and my health issues. Very argumentative and disrespectful. The MRI ladies are basically bullies and even after I explained my level of movement they didn't care to help accommodate.... I got stuck down there for 2hrs after it too. It took 5hrs to get any bedding when I first arrived. The blood takers need reschooling. My wife did more for me than 90% of the staff.

3 week long nightmare
The very most horrible experience ever! The 5th floor was a nightmare. Trash can full of feces for well over 12 hours in the patients room in the heat. Urinals laying in the patients tray of food across the room where he could not reach it. Bandages left on for days with no wound care. No bath in 3 weeks and when it was suggest we were told that a bath was unimportant while patients head was full of dandruff where it was literally hanging off of his hair Patient was left with a sitter and still had a fall? How is that even possible? Where was the sitter? A nightmare, a 3 week long nightmare, no care concern or compassion for a person who was lucky to have even been alive.
