Interesting how they have ignored me in this matter.
Novant has altered my records twice that I am aware of in order to cover this up. I am only posting because no matter how hard I try, I can't get past the crippling fear I now have of the medical community as a whole after what happened to me while getting a routine tests. I went in to have a CT of my spine, then a myelogram followed by another CT with contrast. The first CT went the way it should. The myelogram is where it when very wrong. I was put on a table that tilts, on my stomach and received the lumbar puncture. One end of the table had a place for your feet when tilted in the upright position and the other end had two bars, I'm guessing this is for your shoulders when tilted upside-down. I was positioned about a foot away from the bars with no pillow or anything. The one nurse did a tight roll of one of those white hospital blankets and put it under my throat in the gap of where my shoulders were and the bars at the end. The more it tilted upside-down, the more I kept choking from the pressure my neck had on the rolled up blanket. I was struggling to breathe so I tried to lift my neck slowly just enough to breathe. At this point the other nurse slammed my head down and throat smashed into this really solid rolled blanket. I heard a terrible sound in my neck and then excruciating pain to where it was hard to see, then instant uncontrollable tears. I tried to express how painful it was and I was having a hard time lifting my head. She said that it was my fault for moving. At this point I'm really struggling, the first nurse brought me over to CT where I was supposed to have the one done white contrast. She told CT not to give me another CT (even though it was ordered) because I already had one without contrast before the myelogram. The people in CT tried to make it clear that I was supposed to have the test but the nurse wasn't having it. At the time I was in excruciating pain and just wanted to go home. I struggled so hard to drive home. I was having a hard time seeing, walking, driving and holding my head up. A few days later I was taken by ambulance back to the hospital because I still couldn't hold my head up, issues walking and seeing and the bruises on my neck and chest. I tried to explain to the nurse in the ER what happened, she didn't even examine my neck and treated me like I was just there for meds. I didn't want meds. I wanted to find out what was wrong with me. She had me walk a ways to the bathroom for a drug test. I was struggling to do this and received zero help. After my drug test came back clean, she gave me a shot for pain then sent me home with no answers at all. In my records it shows that both CTs were done and the myelogram. BUT, when you actually look at the tests, all they did was reuse and reliable the first CT to show it had been done. It doesn't have contrast and has the same time stamp as the one they did two hours earlier BEFORE that evil nurse put her hands on me. I now have limited mobility in my neck, chronic pain, i'm terrified to go to the doctors and now I have " Subtle reversed lordosis cervical spine." They even billed the VA for a test they never did.

Sent dad home from the ER with a stroke and he fell 3 times
Sent my 85 y/o dad home from the ER immediately following a stroke. Dad went home, fell 3x, neighbor called 911. Back to the hospital. Fast forward a month, my 84 y/o mom goes in for Covid test. It takes them 48 hours to call her with the positive test results. Worst hospital ever.

Completely Unacceptable
My surgery was delayed because doctor had an emergency. I was forced to sit in pre-op for 2.5 hours with IV'S in me. I had a splitting headache from not eating or drinking and couldn't do anything but lie on the table, unable to move or get up. The nurse did not check in with me even one single time during that wait.

Beware
Misdiagnosed me MULTIPLE times, “lost” my paperwork and blood tests I had taken. I’ll drive to seacoast from now on. Novant will let you suffer before helping you.
