Mission Hospital is not delivering quality care
I was extremely disappointed in the care my mother received after a fall. Had to have ambulance transport to hospital. They did X-rays and found a fractured tibia and elbow. They did a CT scan to make sure she did not have any broken bones in her face or a blood bleed. I ask repeatedly to have her wrist x rayed because I thought it was broken, they did not do one. They fitted her with a very ill fitting brave for her leg that the CNA had no idea how it worked or how to adjust it to put it on my mother. Thank goodness I have experience, I put it on her and it was way too long. The CNA said that was all they had. After being admitted two PT s came to her room and got her up ask if she could roll up on her toes on the leg with the fractured tibia, she could. That had her take a few step on a walker, which she could. They told her she was really to strong for PT and released her to go home. She was not home hardly 24 hours before we had her transported to Advent Hospital at her family Drs advice and they found her wrist was fractured in two places! She is now in PT. Did I mention she is 88 years old?

Not very fair
My husband has been hospitalized for a few days now. He can't get out there till he gets MRI test, but they still can't schedule MRI since he was admitted. His insurance only covers a partial expense for the hospital room, and we can't afford to pay for it as they keep extending his stay due to the delayed test. I really don't like the facial recognition system when we enter the hospital, either.

Better off staying home and praying for the best
Took my daughter here for a serious health issue. She was sent there by her primary care doctor and all they apparently did was drug test her and said to take her back to her primary care doctor. I get that most of the people that come in there are on heroin but my 15 yr old was sent there with extensive notes from her doctor and their doctors didnt read any of it. Their doctors were useless.

This hospital has turned into absolute joke!!
Absolutely the most rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with!! My mom was in the hospital there and I will never again let them treat anyone else i know! From the nurse telling me i couldn’t call and ask about my mom and telling me to never call her phone again and hanging up on me!! To the nurses in the er letting her lay there for 2 hours and her asking to go to the restroom and not offering to help!! The entire time she was in the hospital i only met two nurses that were actually nice!! I wouldn’t recommend taking a dog there for treatment! And then having a nurse supervisor tell me there was nothing they could do because all the nurses are traveling nurses and don’t have to abide by the mission standard of care!!! I completely understand they have a difficult job and all but there’s no excuse for rudeness!!

Horrible care for a family member
I have had to be a major advocate and ask for basic and bare minimum care for a family member when I shouldn't have too. And extreme medical negligence! They don't care!!!! Mission has gone downhill tremendously and no matter how many times you express concerns.

I would never recommend Mission to anyone
This was the worst experience I have ever had. I was treated like trash the whole time I was in there.

I now tell others NOT to go to Mission Hospital
My Technician was terrible. She was rough handling me and my breast. She also had difficulty working the Mammography machine. And called in another Tech. I reported her to front desk when I left. She needs much more training!!! Everything with mission has gotten to be terrible care. My mother was in hospital for 2 weeks in March and received no care or terrible care in every dept. No one came when she called. The Doctors were numerous and each one told her a different diagnosis. She was left alone in the CT dept!!! I was told Transportstion was very short staffed after not showing up several times. It was obvious ALL departments are short staffed. I have switched to Advent Health. Mission has MANY problems and the care is terrible. My mother died.
