This place pushed me to get in an ambulance even after I said I could change hospital myself as my condition wasn’t that bad, it’s probably going to cost me thousands of dollars.

This hospital needs to be shut down by Joint Commission immediately
Horrible Emergency room service.. Nurses all rude. I was seen for an infected root canal treatment. some crazy unprofessional lady with no ID checked my mouth and never came back. I was there 3 hours and decided to leave. She said "you can just leave". Never again.

The amount of negligence here is uncalled for. Rude and unprofessional staff. Incompetent medical. Staff. I choose to leave peacefully to another hospital to get proper care and the security guard would not let me leave. He kept telling me to tell the nurse which I did and she told me to leave. He still wouldn’t let me go and even threaten me saying he was calling reinforcements. He should know about AMA and you can’t hold someone against their will. I was sick and in pain and being threatened.

The nurses make fun of sick patients, especially in the ER
Do not go here. This place is filthy. The doctors are terrible and I feel bad for the lucky few. This place would make a good nurse not care anymore, it’s sad. If you don’t want to feel shamed, cornered and uncomfortable, do not go here. Dr. Nathalie Matheus, get a different job. You have one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever seen. And I have never met a doctor who barely wanted to speak to their patients. The rolling of the eyes. The constant walking around looking like a lost cow. It’s a shame.

This hospital is terrifying. I mean SCARY
I left to live in Florida for many years and just came back home a few months ago, sadly the reputation about this NYC hospital has always been true. I went here tonight for chest pain an shortness of breath. I felt like I was in a prison with how dirty it is there and how unprofessional the staff are. All but one actually cared, she’s a PA her name is LIBBY, that poor girl is one of the good ones who’s gonna loose the heart of why she got into this field if she keeps working there. I can’t believe the hospital could only get worse. At least Florida u can be treated right and it’s not disgusting and dirty

Do not go here if pregnant
The staff are rude and have their attitudes always ready to leave and go home, you can tell they don’t like what they do! One dr got into an argument with two nurses and forgot to take my baby heartbeat and had to call me back again. Super unprofessional environment. Made me stress more than be calm. I wanted to give birth here only because the have mid wives and I love the idea of that but no not worth it!
