Shame shame
All you guys do in the ER is push people out who are injured. I was in a very bad head on car accident and you refused me of head scans. I am still having problems focusing and my ears are ringing. It’s been a week since my wreck.

Unbelievably bad experience!!
On a Saturday night, I took a usually healthy and vigorous elderly lady there who recently had a resistant urinary tract infection. She had swollen feet and legs, was feeling very bad, and had dangerously high, life-threatening high blood pressure of 189/104. They did NOTHING for her. No blood work, no urine specimen, they didn't even remove her jacket or attach electrodes to her chest for cardiac telemetry. After hours of nothing, they said they were discharging her, and decided to get a urine specimen only after I had a verbal fit, but assured me the test wouldn't be back fast enough to treat an infection if there was one. So they discharged her with no treatment, no white blood count, a blood pressure of 189/104, and instructions to follow up with her doctor on Monday. The ER wasn't busy that night, it was mostly empty and quiet -- and I wonder why! Seeking medical help from the Grandview ER was a dangerous waste of time and money!!

Nope never will return to that ER
I came in with a work injury. Busted head and hurt knee. It was almost an hour before I was seen by the dr. Biggest issue is I am on blood thinners. My head hit concrete hard due to being knocked down by about 18,000 lbs. my head was not one time looked at or scanned, not even an X-ray. Sadly my wife is an employee of Grandview and see was livid by them not even throwing a glance at could I possibly have a slow bleed or anything due to the head injury I had. Just three staples and on my way.

Worst hospital stay I’ve had
The on staff Dr. told me to pack my bags and hitchhike home. I’ve never been so humiliated . I could barely walk. I’ll never go back there.

Better off going anywhere else
I went to the main hospital, second floor to have an ultrasound done at 3:00 p.m. I was instructed to get there 45 minutes early. I did. They didn't start the paperwork until 3:05 p.m. I was the last person in the entire giant waiting room at 4:40 p.m. I went to the sign in desk and asked them what was going on, and you could see the look on her face, they forgot. I don't know how that even happens. Then started making every stupid excuse she could! Bottom line, own your mistakes, people will respect you more. Horrible experience, they told me my ultrasound was going to a Dr. Bishop who doesn't do surgery. And it hasn't made it back to my primary Dr. yet. Two weeks ago.

Zero star for postpartum
There was a lack of communication, empathy, professionalism on the postpartum and when we asked to speak to someone about our experience I was belittled by a doctor and they never sent the shift supervisor to speak with us. If I had to rate each department postpartum would receive a zero star.

I do not feel that I was treated in a timely nor respectful manner
My visit took 2 hours and 45 minutes. I was scheduled for blood work, a urinalysis and an ultrasound. The waiting area emptied twice before I was finally seen.

It felt like assembly-line medicine
More concern paid to getting patients in and out than proper patient care. I was sent home too quickly and wound up in our local ER to have a catheter put in.

Beautiful hospital but terrible experience
The rooms are not clean, and my needs were not met when I had my baby. Never asked a birthing plan, and they are centered around medicated births. I had to demand to be let out of the bed and be placed on a digital monitor, and I found a birthing ball on my own in the closet, they offered zero assistance through the actual process. I will NOT be back.
