Zero star for postpartum
There was a lack of communication, empathy, professionalism on the postpartum and when we asked to speak to someone about our experience I was belittled by a doctor and they never sent the shift supervisor to speak with us. If I had to rate each department postpartum would receive a zero star.

I do not feel that I was treated in a timely nor respectful manner
My visit took 2 hours and 45 minutes. I was scheduled for blood work, a urinalysis and an ultrasound. The waiting area emptied twice before I was finally seen.

It felt like assembly-line medicine
More concern paid to getting patients in and out than proper patient care. I was sent home too quickly and wound up in our local ER to have a catheter put in.

Beautiful hospital but terrible experience
The rooms are not clean, and my needs were not met when I had my baby. Never asked a birthing plan, and they are centered around medicated births. I had to demand to be let out of the bed and be placed on a digital monitor, and I found a birthing ball on my own in the closet, they offered zero assistance through the actual process. I will NOT be back.

No discharge instructions were given
The Dr was rude. The admit nurse and recovery nurse which were the same person was rude also. No discharge instructions were given to me or my family member except in writing. As a nurse myself I know how to treat pts and definitely give some verbal instructions. I was so sick leaving there and couldn't remember what the nurse had even given me in recovery would have been nice if my family had been told something.

The anesthesiologist helper who put me to sleep hurt me
Worse experience I have ever had getting a pain block and I have had several over the years. The anesthesiologist helper who put me to sleep hurt me and didn't care that she was hurting me. My hand looks like I have been in fight and jaw bone on both sides of my face still hurt. I called my doctor 5 days later to talk to his nurse and she said 3 other patients had called to complain about the same lady who put me to sleep ( she is employed by Grandview Buildings 2 not employed by my Doctor.

Beware of "Vampire Woman"
One of the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had!Only 2 or 3 nurses really show care and compassion for what they are doing.Nurse taking blood wouldn't even knock before entering the room. Just burst right in and flip on the lights. Never coming back!

I begin every visit to Grandview with anger and stress
You have the audacity to charge for parking at a hospital! Not ok. ACG is a competent group of physicians, but their patient management practices are broken. Choose a different cardiology group; preferably one that is not affiliated with a hospital.

They said I had eloped when I was there the whole time
The ER checked me in and I waited 4 hours before my CT. They said I had eloped, but I never left, the lost me. 2 hours later, I asked when I would be called back and they couldn't find my record. It was a horrible experience. After they were informed that I was there the whole time, I still waited 2 more hours and I was so sick. Not good.
