Presbyterian hospital billed my insurance for a surgery they never actually did
Imagine going under anesthesia and then spending over a week in the hospital recovering with all kinds of side effects from the nasty drugs they use. And then discovering that they never actually did the surgery. I know this because I just ended up having the surgery for real two years later. I had to also have additional surgery to remove foreign objects left in my body by this hospital (they opened me up, did not do the surgery they said they did, did not do the surgery they billed my insurance an enormous amount for, and left some stuff inside of me and then stitched it shut). I spent a lot of time trying to identify why I was in so much pain and there was so much inflammation. The amount of time that this stole from my life is enormous. Worse yet is they are very abusive when you try to ask them to take responsibility. This is especially true for Laura Crowe who is the last person you speak to before they dismiss you completely. Her job is to deny everything even if someone dies and she is completely soulless in doing so because I don't think she's even human. Many of the negative reviews on here and other platforms echo what I've experienced. I am a peaceful caring person but I have honestly prayed to God that this place is forced to close its doors and the hospital administrators imprisoned for the inhumanity that they impose upon so many people that have written reviews about this place that echo everything that I've experienced. One would think that multiple people saying the same negative things would raise a red flag that the problem really exists but they don't give a damn about anything but your money. I'm reporting this to my insurance company for insurance fraud because they sent an enormous built to my insurance company for the surgery they never did. And I am taking this hospital to court and suing them for medical malpractice and fraud. I'm including everybody that I've encountered at this place as co-defendants in the same legal action because they need to be held accountable.

I was a lab animal, practice on and destroyed at the age of 68.
I was diagnosed with PAD. I had severe lower leg pain. On 2/19/23 I was scheduled to have a procedure. called. artheretomy by Dr. E. Henao This procedure was to unclog my artery using a tool that rotate. I DONT KNOW THE NAME OF TOOL. My leg was destroyed. Ligaments ripped, muscles torn, knee damaged, knotes of tissues could be felt under my skin. Results: 1) lied to by doctor. He stated 2 stents were place in my left leg. A Stent was placed in right illac artery which caused major discomfort. 2) I could not get pain medication from staff or doctor. My pain level was max. 3) I was never told what happened never given a a summary and one was not filed in records. Here I am over 1 year. I'm suffering with pain on my complete left side. Because Dr. Henao used the tool from my lower back, hip, down to my toes. Do not be another animal say no to this procedure and never trust a doctor that never removes his mask

I have no insurance and accuse a very sick, stressed out person of being rude
I have no insurance, and told them so- I feel the medical staff was exemplary, never made me feel my care was less important than that of a well insures person and for that I am grateful. However, when the finance employee came to talk to me , though never asked how or when I intended to pay she gave me alot of insurance info, said she could possibly get more- I THOUGHT it went well until the day I was discharged the Hospitalist told me the finance lady had said I was rude and said I had no interest in paying my bill. Not true, we didn't even talk about my bill and I guarantee if you polled anybody else I had contact with during my stay they would say I was polite and cooperative.I think a person willing to accuse a very sick, stressed out person of being rude and not apparently willing to initiate the payment issue who takes care with saying please and thank you, then accusing her of rudeness shouldn't be allowed to deal with patients while they are in the hospital, go have a bad day elsewhere, lady.

The worst treatment I have ever received
I went to the er and had blood drawn, and I waited two hours so I decided to leave but before doing so I asked if I would receive my lab results. Which I was told I would receive them and would be able to view them on MyChart. I waited for hours and never received anything so I called and was told that my tests were cancelled. CANCELLED! Outrageous I am being charged for a visit and lab work I never got results for. When I called the emergency department to get the tests reinstated I was hung up on three times. I spoke with this woman each time and heard her put the phone down to disconnect the call. This was the most disgusting treatment I have ever received from people in the medical field. This place does not care about their patients.

Terrible after care planning
When you release someone from the hospital every thing they need for after care should be in place. Especially if the risk is great but not great enough to stay in the hospital. Maybe they are overworked but it isn't the patients fault and shouldn't be taken out on them.

Terrible place
The operators disconnect your call after waiting for over 10 mins twice. The hospital discriminated against those who don’t forcefully get vaccines including the measles shot!!

Go elsewhere to avoid dealing with Presbyterian billing and ruining your credit.
Presbyterian Health Care Services or otherwise known as Presbyterian Financial Services. Problems, problems. Rec services back in Jan 23. Explained at time of service had no insurance coverage. Insisted in paying out of pocket at time of service and was refused and was informed there was no charge for the visit. They still billed my expired insurance without informing me causing me to be sent to collections which I did not find out they did until May 2023. They do not send out messages to let the consumer know there is an issue. They do not put any info in MyChart to let the consumer know there is an issue. By the time you find out they automate call you on a Sunday at 11:23 AM to say to call them even though they are closed. Who ever runs the billing needs additional training. Billing department should be investigated for fraud. Terrible experience with Presbyterian. The billing department operates without oversight and can cause financial damage to you and your family at will. Please choose another healthcare system to avoid dealing with Presbyterian billing department and ruining your credit.

Terrible patient care if you ask me
My daughter was visiting from CA, her and my son waited about 5hrs without being seen. They hooked her to an Iv and set her in the waiting room even though she was brought by ambulance. Now, I know ER waits are long but I’ve never had to wait being brought via ambulance and also 5+ hours waiting is so extreme like how it was when I was a kid. I’ve been in the medical field for 20 years. Regardless I had my son have them disconnect her. She almost fainted, very pale, vomiting/diarrhea and she was completely white when her normal color is tan skin as she is Pacific Islander.

Nothing more than a pre-morgue
The worst hospital in New Mexico. It is nothing more than a pre-morgue. After 36 hoursof no of no food, no water my chest pains were getting worse, not better and freezing while trying to sleep on a corner of bed, i was finally admitted where they wanted me to wait in the hallway. I was put on no food or drink twice without ever having a procedure. No one said they were so swamped i should have gone to different hospital. Instead i was left to rot for 5 days awaiting cardiac care. That NEVER CAME! I have had 5 heart attacks and am in otherwise good health. Presbyterian just wants you to die. I recommend driving to another state if you want you family members to live. So if you dont have to watch your loved ones go from bad heart or starvation or dehydration. Go to a real hospital. Heck you probably get better care at the Vet.
