They made a mistake
I went in for a routine knee surgery and they forgot to give me my knee blocking for pain when I woke up screaming they then gave it to me and I was admitted for three days when I should’ve been out of there the first day this is a bad hospital not good at all.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would most definitely do so
The STAFF was horrible they had nasty attitudes and they let the guy across the hallway walk in my room twice because they wouldn’t keep eye on him and they wouldn’t close my door because my nurse was at lunch it’s a VERY UNCOMFORTABLE PLACE TO BE EVERY SHIFT WAS HORRIBLE I WAS TREATED HORRIBLE WRONG lazy workers I was in pain for 3 hours straight because my tech lied twice and said she gave my nurse the message that I was in pain but she never did not only dat all of the nurses on the 4th floor was in my room like it was the hang out spot just to talk about patients who was check in all I’m saying if you have any family members there please take them somewhere else the doctor only came to my room 1 for 5 minutes to ask about my gender

It is terribly a bad place to come when you are sick
They hold the patient more than the necessity and the practitioner is a very bad person and don’t behave good with kids. I came here just it is close to my home but each time I can to this place, 5 hours of mine is taken inside the emergency room for just a cough sickness.

Avoid HCA altogether, if possible!
ER is disorganized, dysfunctional, terrible bedside manners and unprofessionalism by some of the staff, and lack cleanliness. Did not have an ultrasound tech available to do ultrasounds at 1pm. Was told by a doctor that it's an ongoing issue. Went to Memorial Hermann ER where they were able to find the issue because they had an ultrasound tech available at 5pm, albeit having to pay for another ER copay.

High ass bill for what?
Had an allergic reaction severely itchy left me sitting for a hour but came and verified if I had insurance fast as hell I should’ve took my chances buying over the counter than came here with a high ass bill

DO NOT recommend this hospital at all!
Arrived here at approximately 8:30 am with heart issues. It is 4:00 pm,still laying here in an er bed..still haven't been treated,admitted,given any food nor any fluids to stay hydrated.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with HCA Houston West
I scheduled a sinus surgery and was instructed to arrive at 5:45 AM. Upon arrival, I found that no one was at the registration desk, and there is only a sign saying registration hour is from 7:00am to 5:00pm. I had to ask around to locate the day surgery room. Once I got there, I was asked to lie down on a bed and waited for 90 minutes before a nurse finally showed up. She then asked if I had eaten breakfast, and I mentioned that I had, as no one informed me that fasting was required. After another 30 minutes of waiting, I was told that the surgery couldn’t proceed because anesthesia requires 8 hours of fasting. This was incredibly frustrating since I had taken the day off, woke up at 4:30 AM, and spent $100 on Uber. All of this could have been easily avoided if they had just informed me during the pre-surgery call the day before. Instead, the only thing they reminded me of during that call was to pay the bill beforehand.
