Please investigate and improve
It pains me to have to agree with some of the negative reviews included here. Unfortunately, they are correct and the lack care and of neglect, lack of care and compassion is absent here. People must be treated and cared for, that is paramount to a reputable medical facility. There are so many instance where I personally have been neglected and left waiting while in pain. In defense of some here, there are some staff that really try, but the system is broken down.

I will NEVER go back to this hospital
Only giving it a star because I have to. I fainted twice and waited 6 hours to get an IV, they had no where to lay me down so they put me in the hallway. I waited 12 hours, and the whole time I was not seen by a doctor only nurses so I sure as hell went against medical advice and left.

Memorial Hermann you could do better than this
My mother came here for surgery and the RN that was prepping her Mrs.Sharron was so rude and rough my mother was in tears with pain and shes not one that cries. And that was even before she tried to do the IV. Yes tried I was sitting in the chair across the room and could see her moving the needle all around in her arm than after so long I got mad and stood up so she knew I was paying attention she took it out and was like let me find someone that can help with IV. She came back with nobody and said she gonna try again in same arm but on forarm as she was trying that my mom was making faces than started saying oww oww than louder ooowww. I made small talk and was told shes been a nurse for 17 years but back then they didn't do IV's ....

After hours of "prison like" treatment
My mother was transferred to Herman for a broken arm to talk to a orthopedic surgeon. She was on a bed for 18 plus hours in the ER hallway waiting for a room. She needs a wheel chair because she is a fall risk. They said they didn't have anymore. They took her once to a private restroom and then the other times was given a bed pan to use the restroom in the hall in front of other patients. What a horrible and demeaning way to treat people! She signed herself out against Doctor's orders, and waited in the lobby for 3 more hours for a ride. I live hours away and was trying to communicate via phone along with other siblings. We all were given conflicting information. During the 18 hour stay I called only 3 times and spoke to 3 different nurses. Then all of a sudden they would not even pick up my calls, but conviently picked up when I used a different phone. I was never rude and was just trying to get information since she had no advocate there with her. I heard the nurses when I was on the phone with my mother they sounded busy and bothered by any request she made. I know nurses take the brunt of this poor managment system. This is a TOP problem and the bottom is suffering. AVOID this hospital as a first choice, and if ot/pt is necessary make sure they have a bed before transporting.

I left feeling so scared and angry as I drove to another hospital
Waited over 8 hr with my son in the pediatric emergency care to only have his vitals taken when we entered and never seen again. Ended up leaving because we were hungry, tired, and out of clean diapers (packed 5). Would never recommend this hospital to anyone. I left feeling so scared and angry as I drove to another hospital to receive care we needed.

Not ever coming back
I came with an infection and left with no antibiotics no answer to anything. I’m in great pain and all they wanted was the money. Do not ever come here they will let you die without a care in the world.

Those low numbers that this hospital counts as accomplishments, sad
For whatever reason, MH ER staff decided to leave my wife in the halfway for over 12 hours after she broke her leg. Not sure why the ER staff was so uncaring. Then two weeks after her surgery she is still in a lot of pain. So I called the on-call doctor today. His level of complete non-interest was palpable over the phone. His only suggestion was go to ED.

This how you treat your elders come on now
They left my mother in a hallway after she was in an ambulance for 2 hrs and she had back surgery then never took her to the rest room nor fed or gave her water I will find a way to make this a bigger issue.

People don’t matter at Memorial Hermann, just making money!
If you don’t have insurance they try to push you out of the hospital. They did this to my son whom is in a state where he only opens his eyes, can’t move anything on his body. They patient dumped him against our will. They put him in a horrible place that couldn’t meet his needs in less than 24 hrs we called 911 and he is back in the ICU fighting for his life. I have called everyone including the social worker that put him there and the CEO and no one has called me back. His care has been unsafe and has violated every one of their own policy, standard of care, CMS guideline , health departments, and the Joint Commissions Guidelines .

Waiting time is so soo long
The waiting might give you anxiety and feel you’re losing your patience. I really don’t understand the reason why parents and children have to wait for so so so so long. We spent there almost 6 hours from 8pm to 2.30am. Employees are so busy like robots and us patients treated like we don’t have any feelings or body to sit six hours on a chair. We were seen in the pediatric waiting area and not even a room or bed. My seven yo son/patient slept on the chair all the time. There has to be a solution for this.
