Their quality of care towards their patients is by far the worst I have witnessed
The absolute worst hospital in San Antonio. I work in healthcare and try and be as understanding as I can but their actions are absolutely unacceptable. They treated my grandpa as the least of their priority, and did not take his treatment serious. They go hours without checking up on him, they haven’t allowed him to eat for 3 days or drink water. They also took hours to change his nasty bed sheets. A family member of mine had to demand water to my almost 80 year old grandpa. I wish they would’ve treated him as if he were their grandpa, they would’ve cared for him completely differently.

Very, very dissatisfied.
My boyfriend came to the hospital and in the beginning they cared for him well. Once we went to the room it seem the didn't want to work. Could get him help through the nurses button or even if we spoke to them , they would say okay and leave and come back. Pass by and say I'll be right there and not show up... really horrible service. They have done so much better before.. I guess they no longer care.

How you gonna refuse to help a patient that you know is at risk for falling!
The nurses during this shift need better training, or you need a new head nurse because that is just not right. When my father first arrived, it looked like this was going to go smooth. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Come this morning shift change, and everything was OK, until I left for a couple hours and all hell broke loose. My father asked for help cleaning himself and the nurse refused because she said he was capable of doing it himself. If he is asking you for help, he obviously can't do it himself! Made him mad, and sure he shouldn't of cussed at her, but she didn't have to black list him. Every nurse that went in there refused to help him because they said he was marked down as do not help, who does that?! That is horrible, and a horrible way to treat someone who you know damn well is at risk for falling. This hospital has gone downhill, and is soon to be the next Southwest General Hospital! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Discharged me with a full hip fracture and ended up having surgery somewhere else a lil over 24 hours later.

They never cleaned my husbands room dirty linen
They never cleaned my husbands room it was filthy for days... dirty linen I had to go get everything he needed myself and he didn't get breakfast they only brought 6 damn trays for the whole 5th floor he is diabetic n sugars dropped low cuz insulin was given that's ridiculous. I will never bring family or myself here again!

My bill of 6,379.00 actually beat me home
My husband and I were visiting San Antonio for a conference and I was having severe hip pain. I needed to find a hospital because I could barely walk. We took an Uber to Baptist Medical Center mainly because it was the closest. The care was average at most but the charges for the visit were the biggest surprise! There was literally nothing done except a shot of morphine. I was seen by the ED physician for less than 5 minutes tops. I live in Virginia and even ask if I could get some pain medication for the trip home and was told “ NO” immediately. My bill of 6,379.00 actually beat me home. I am a Registered Nurse and I was there for the visit. I was fully aware of what was done. There is no way that was worth that much money. I have written letters to dispute the charge and they have all been rejected. I had a total hip replacement on March 15th and I have already paid my bill. I feel very taken advantage of and this is stealing. I’m just so sorry that I ever even went to this hospital and I’m even more disappointed that nobody has really taken the time to listen to me. I am actually disappointed that I have to even leave a one star review.
