The day I was there, there was no water or ice due to a flood .
Maybe I was expecting too much, but it seemed no one really cared about the patients. The assistants however were nice and helpful. The day I was there , there was no water or ice due to a flood . No one offered to find me any water, and I had a knee replacement that morning and hadn’t had any water since the day before surgery. My husband thought to go to cafeteria to buy me some water, and that was at 6 that evening. Why didn’t baptist have some bottled water delivered stat? Nurses weren’t very helpful!

This hospital has a major problem with cleaning and organization
We were at the hospital 10 days. The room was on the 5th floor and it was FILTHY!...the night stand had dried up liquid all over the exterior drawers, on the side, the side table was also dirty. The bathroom cabinet under the sink was also dirty with dried up liquid on the surface. It was so disgusting, I had to use gloves, paper towels and soap with sanitizer to clean all the surfaces, handles, light switches. The baseboards around the room were also dirty; I was afraid to get sick by touching anything. The hospital's housekeeping department or custodial department should be fired!

Lack of care is abuse
The lack of care my father has received during his stay this week is abuse! He has a PEG tube for nutrition and they only did half his feedings ( so half the daily nutrition he needs!) Even when called non-stop, took 6 hours to be handed his supplement for the family to give! He is starting to have skin break down from lack of being turned and cared for! We the family are doing ALL his care. Never ever go to this hospital and do not allow your loved ones there either!

Terrible
After cutting the ends of 2 fingers off with a chainsaw.. i drove myself in agony to this er. first.. 0 parking spaces! second i passed out in a room... no nurse ever came while i called out. signed out ama pain and all.

Wait times are ridiculous
God forbid something be terribly wrong with a person because the staff wouldn’t know with how long someone has to wait for over 5 hours just to be seen. This place is a joke.

24 hours wait in the ER on a MRI
We gave a lot of money at this hospital over the years! I took my wife there and spent 24 hours in the ER waiting on a MRI ! We self discharged. Service has went down badly and the place was nasty!

Baptist Hospital ER is an awful place
My Mom was very sick. She had to wait 10 hours to be seen. A patient was having a seizure right in front of the nurses and they did not even notice. This is an awful place. I will never ever have anything good to say about this hospital.

It’s better to Google your symptoms than to go to this hospital
0/10 i wouldn’t recommend. giving this place 1 star is way too much accolades. Horrible treatment, Horrible Hospitality, Horrible customer service, Rude staff, Dirty hospital, they don’t even put a sheet on the bed before telling you to sit on the naked bed they didn’t even sanitize. To top it all off they lost my Lab work and told me they needed to draw blood again after 6 hours of waiting for the lab Results. nothing was accomplished.

BAPTIST DIDN'T USE TO BE LIKE THIS!!!!
I AM SO UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED IN THE ER STAFF!!! THEY HAVE YOU TO SIGN PAPERWORK SO YOU CAN CHECK UP ON YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS BUT WHEN YOU CALL THEY REFUSE TO INFORM YOU OF ANYTHING!!!!! SO MY QUESTION IS WHY HAVE US SIGN THIS FORM/SHEET/ CONTRACT/PAPER GIVING THEM PERMISSION TO TALK TO OUR FAMILY MEMBERS ABOUT OUR LOVE ONES CONDITIONS BUT IF YOU CALL THEY TELL YOU THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TELL YOU ANYTHING, SO HOW ARE WE TO KNOW ABOUT OUR LOVE ONES???!!!
