Hospitals are supposed to help people. Not neglect people
You did not take her cry for help seriously and damned her body. Should be ashamed for all those you have neglected and turned away.

I had a TERRIBLE time in the ER on 4/29
I asked for a wheelchair since I had trouble walking in and employees emphasized how they only give it to people who absolutely need it even though I had trouble walking and was experiencing pelvic pain. I received dry and rude responses from the desk clerk. It was clear she was there to clock in and clock out. The triage nurse called my name and that was about the only time she talked to me. Before the doctor came and talked to me, a random nurse roughly tried taking out my IV and ended up yanking out the IV out from my arm. It obviously hurts and I didn't receive so much of an apology. She said "oh, it wasn't supposed to come out like that." All this trouble and disrespect throughout the duration of an 8-9 hour stay.

Get ready for unexpected bills
At least two bills per visit even though this was preventative care and we called everyone upfront to ask why we are called to come back and if it will cost us anything and we did asked again on the front desk at arrival and no one answered any of our questions! They are like robots, just asking you to sit and wait and later on you get the bill in the mail despite our numerous attempts to find out upfront if and how much it would be! It’s like they know they will overcharge you so they don’t have the decency to tell you face to face! They still charged our insurance but that’s everything they’ll get from us! And good luck disputing later, again answers like a robot and keep sending bills! But I have a tip for everyone reading this in the same situation like us, just don’t pay, keep all your emails and communication for your records but never agree to anything and they will never get those money! Even after they send this to collections if you never agreed to pay they won’t get those money! Just tell them: “see you in court!” And the thing you signed at check in is not agreeing to pay their ridiculous bills, no matter how much they insist on the opposite. Good luck and stay strong, you are not alone.

Very slow hospital, been waiting hours
What shocked me was the white lady who was drawing my blood didnt even know if i was the correct person. She just said what u hear for, ohh ok the doctor gonna need blood anyway. Ive NEVER experienced that. That has to be illegal. They seem overly crowded & most ppl working here just come off angry.

DO NOT GO HERE
I could not recommend any other hospital more. Bill was absurdly high and my son was told to wait without receiving any help for way too long.

Customer service is useless and complete waste of time
Tried to figure out excessive billing and it was complete waste. They just bounce you between 'departments' and really don't care. After that you receive urgent bills and you can't pay online because their website is so bad. Wish to find better service

NORTHSIDE DOES NOT EVEN FOLLOW THEIR OWN POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS
If you plan to do skin-to-skin with your baby, DO NOT deliver at this establishment! When my baby was born, I opened my gown and asked multiple times to be able to do skin-to-skin with my new baby. The nurse said, "We do not do that." Seriously? According to their website: ''Northside Hospital has been the comforting, familiar presence for mothers-to-be in Atlanta for more than a generation. In fact, we are the undisputed leader in maternity services, delivering more babies a year than any other community hospital in the country.'' Well, I guess they deliver so many babies that the best interest of the mother and her newborn is not their priority. I find it ironic how the first thing you see when you walk into the maternity center is a HUGE banner that claims they follow the Golden Hour. I was DENIED my 'Golden Hour' with my baby, and I will never get that opportunity back. I guess it's just too much work for them. When filing a complaint, the Patient Affairs Representative, Allan Graham, was extremely dismissive and rude. After speaking to a couple of supervisors in Labor and Delivery at Northside, this is what I found out: The first one claimed, "Pt needs to advocate for themselves.'' Please explain to me how a mother in the middle of receiving a ton of medications and just delivering her baby can advocate for herself?! This makes absolutely no sense. Not to mention, I asked more than once! What does it take for me to advocate for myself? The other supervisor, who claims her name was Lakeisha Ross, admitted to me that I should have been able to do skin-to-skin with my baby and profusely apologized for her nurse's behavior. I managed to get a copy of the policy, and I should have been able to do skin-to-skin with my baby. HOW IS THIS OKAY? DO NOT HAVE YOUR BABY HERE!!!!

Do not recommend Northside Atlanta
Please do not go to this hospital. Respectfully spend the extra time, money & energy and go to Emory. The experience was terrible. Staff was not happy or helpful. They were incredibly rude. We waited 2 hours in the waiting room (with a broken wrist). The facility was very outdated and run down. The building and rooms were very dirty and unmanaged. Homeless people sleeping in the waiting room.

Sent to collections even though we were paying $250+ a month
Outpatient gyno surgery. Facility and doc fine but my bill ($2600 that obviously I couldn’t pay in full) was sent to collections even though we were paying $250+ a month. no minimum payment or payment is offered and no communication before bill was sent to collections. We had paid off over $1000 but doesn’t matter. Seems very unethical.
