92 yo with broke ribs 15.5 hours in the waiting room
Arrived at 1:30 pm found out 92 year old mother broke 5 ribs in a fall, at 2:53 am 14 hours later she is still sitting in a wheelchair in the ER waiting room, she couldn’t stand sitting in the chair with no pain relief, we left at 5am, 15.5 hours in the waiting room.

Did nothing to help my Dad
They sent him home with home health nurse to give him antibiotic shots. She came one time and said they shouldn’t have let him go. So we came to CAMC Memorial and we are getting excellent care. They’ve already done more tests than Thomas and are trying to get to cause of the problem. We have talked to several Doctors already. At Thomas we talked to 1doctor over 3 days and nobody gave us any answers.

WVU Medicine hospitals are the bottom of the barrel for healthcare
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hospital. They can’t get you the help you need unless you have months to wait and their doctors are being treated poorly and understaffed so you know what happens? The patient suffers, totally unacceptable. I’ll say this again, go to CAMC Memorial or CAMC General and your health and sanity will thank you. I would give WVU Medicine 0 stars if that was an option. Stay away.

I'll never go back to Thomas ever again
I was there for 7 days and the only real Dr I seen was kidney Dr I have prostate cancer and they took blood test every day but nobody would check my PSA level I requested a update every day To make a long story short I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THOMAS HOSPITAL!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would
I expect any ER visit to take forever, but this place is an absolute joke. We sat more than an hour while people who came in after us, and were NOT emergent, were taken ahead of us. At one point, my bf attempted to use the restroom to FIND BLOOD ON THE TOILET. When reported to the guy at the window, he told me to ask the security guard, who was nowhere to be found, where the next closest restroom was located. He was totally unconcerned about the state of the bathroom. And when I asked him and two other members of the staff about another bathroom, THEY HAD NO CLUE. They FINALLY sent someone to clean the bathroom nearly 20 minutes later. Unacceptable. Do better.
