Way they treated my dad while he was dying people should lose their license
Worst hospital in the state hands down. My dad would be screaming in pain every morning saying he didn't get his pain meds while his body was covered in cancer bc they didn't catch it for over a year. The nurses tried to say they actually gave him the dilauded but why did I find the pills in his bed, on the floor, and in the freaking trash. He couldn't move his arms very well so those pills needed to be put in his mouth we told them that over and over. Yet those pills were everywhere. His chart said he took them but yet I found them everywhere. I hope that hospital cleans well bc if not you definitely have dilauded pills just laying around. We didn't trust they wouldn't retaliate because after the first complaint they got very rude so they were put back where they were found scattered

Terrible! They couldn’t make more mistakes if they tried. From the case mgmt to the doctor to the scan. Please find somewhere else to go if your health means anything to you.

There’s a hand full of nurses and doctors that care
The rest have no bedside manner at all. The Heart Center is the worst. Most nurses reminded me of High Schoolers with mean girls syndrome very immature and gossipy. The ER Department isn’t as bad.

RUN THE OTHER WAY and don't look back! You have been warned
Highly unprofessional, multiple traumatic experiences from staff/employees here, dramatic environment that only thrives on toxicity. Also, my bills/charges quadrupled for same services! When I asked why my bills are so high for the same procedures all I was told is, "Insurance will pay." Insurance stated they are fully paid but this hospital is wanting even more on top of the extra charges! 100% do not recommend.

I am still traumatized after what this hospital did to my husband
During the 2020 plandemic. He had a genetic liver disorder and was dying, they kept putting him in the covid ward with negative covid test, why would you put a dying man who DOESN'T HAVE COVID in area he could get it and die faster. While in an ER room they decided to give him a procedure to remove fluid from his abdomin, the nurse told my husband to push on the area every few minutes and she would be right back an hour and a half later in walks another nurse asking him how long he had been there because they forgot about him with a tube in his stomach. Our bills were over a million $$ after their crooked policies. Also had a doctor tell me I was acting morbidly agitated while I was in the middle of a menopausal hot flash. I was already frustrated with this horrible unprofessional hospital staff only to have some smug doctor insult me. Thank God IU transplant center got him in and saved his life.

If you want respect or to be treated like a human do not go here!
I was hemorrhaging, light headed and severe right side pain. My doctor told me to go to the ER. I waited 45 min to check in and once I got up to the counter the nurse checking me in laughed and said "Your doctor told you wrong. You shouldn't be here." She did check me in but told me I would be waiting a very long time as I was not an emergency. I walked out and called my doctor. This is not my first terrible experience with this hospital but it will certainly be the last.

This was the most disrespectful facility!
The nurses were ignoring the patients in the results room! When asked for help the nurse at the desk across from the results room cut me off mid sentence and rushed off, I asked her if she had a time frame for the CAT scans and she said there must be a line so I don’t know. I was in the waiting room for 3 hours before being called to the back. I sat in one room for 5 minutes before they sent me to another room, where I wasn’t given a time frame or any guidance, just a “wait here”. This facility employees are greatly lacking in Patient Care! I’m positive the only one I saw actively working was the person changing the trash out!!!!

No sense of “EMERGENCY”
Broke my radius and ulna. Went into the “EMERGENCY” entrance. Was in a wheelchair at the time due to the pain, and there seemed to be no signs of concern for me. The line was long with people who seemed to be completely fine. No sense of urgency to help me out. Go to OrthoIndy instead, they’re way better.
