Better luck getting seen by Dr. Pepper
I’m pregnant and was experiencing abnormal cramping. My husband and I arrived at ER around 7:40 pm, and all the way up until 1:45 am I still had not seen a provider. During this time I was called back and forth to go in between ultrasound and lab. I got done with ultrasound at around 10, and the rest of the time I spent in the waiting area. The only excuse they could give me was “we’re waiting for a bed”. I saw multiple people who got there after me get discharged. At 1:45 am I had enough, I wanted to leave, so I go up to the front desk to see how much longer, and already knowing that she wouldn’t know, I tell her that I have been there for almost 6 hours and that I want to be discharged, mind you during this conversation she had an attitude like it was a crime for me to ask how much longer after waiting 6 HOURS. I get called to the back to get my IV taken out, and the gentleman who took it out was anything but gentle. I expressed I was in pain as he was taking the IV out, but obviously didn’t care. It has now been 30 min and my wound won’t stop excessively bleeding. This place is a sorry excuse for an “ER”. You’ll have better luck getting seen by Dr. Pepper.
